Description

How many people know that English cricketers pioneered the art of bowling leg spin, as mastered by Shane Warne? Leg breaks, googlies, flippers - all were invented here. So how did we come to give it all away? Justin Parkinson charts a history of neglect and ineptitude - yet suggests how England can once again become the global centre of leg spin.
