Description

Blackpool's promotion to the Premier League should have set the club up for life, but the Oyston family had other plans. It engulfed an entire community - court cases, lifetime bans, prison sentences. This was a scandal UK football had never seen before. How Not to Run a Football Club tells the inside story of how it all went wrong.

About the author

Nathan Fogg is a sportswriter and lifelong Blackpool fan. He edited fanzines that campaigned for boycotts and protests and was a moderator of a fans' forum that was sued by the club's owners for alleged defamation. As part of the legal defence team which won its case, he was uniquely positioned to lay bare a scandal that nearly tore a football club apart.
