Meet Spurs Double Winner

Terry Dyson, Spurs' Double and European Cup Winners' Cup hero, is signing copies of his autobiography Spurs' Unsung Hero Of The Glory Glory Years at Waterstone's Enfield this Saturday, 9th May, between 1 and 2pm.

Written in collaboration with Mike Donovan, the book is the untold rollercoaster tale of a forgotten member of a side rated as one of the greatest club teams of all time. Terry was reckoned key to Bill Nicholson’s fabled outfit – against which every subsequent Spurs team is judged.

Tottenham Hotspur legend Cliff Jones said of Terry: “He was a special player and is a special character. His contribution to our great side will never be forgotten.

“He popped up with important goals. One came in the 1961 FA Cup final against Leicester City and two in the 1963 European Cup Winners' Cup final against Atletico Madrid, in which he was man of the match. It was his night. No doubt about that.

“In addition he scored a hat-trick against our big north London rivals Arsenal, a feat that has not been achieved by any other Spurs player before or since.

“Let's hope the book goes well for him.”
