MIKE PROCTER AT GLOUCS NOSTALGIA FEST!
MIKE PROCTER AT GLOUCS NOSTALGIA FEST!
Travel back to the 1970s with Gloucestershire! This Sunday, the Brightside County Ground hosts the annual Former Players’ Reunion.
At close of play, a panel of players from the 1970s will gather for a special 1970s Remembered Q&A event to relive that season. Special guest will be Mike Procter who will be chatting to his teammates. This one-off special event will raise funds for the Mike Procter Foundation UK, which brings sport, education and hope to disadvantaged young people in the townships and rural communities of South and east Africa.
Don’t miss out on the club’s annual Memorabilia Sale in the Jessop Bar, for GCCC Heritage Trust. Visit the new Museum & Learning Centre which will be open from 10am. Plus, of course, Mike Procter will be chatting to fans and signing copies of his new book, Caught in the Middle!
Tickets for the 1977 evening must be bought in advance. They only cost £10.00 – all of which goes directly to the work of the Foundation.
The event will start after the close of play, from 6-45pm, in the Jessop Bar in the Bristol Pavilion. Tickets can be bought from club reception or over the phone: 0117 910 8017. For enquires about the day, please email david.finch@glosccc.co.uk
